Birch Heart Leaf Earrings - Forest Leaves Collection

Inspired by the slender, graceful birch trees of Lithuania, these earrings begin their life as a reimagined birch leaf - sketched into a heart shape and etched into metal before ever touching the saw.

Each leaf is pressed from my hand-drawn pattern, then carefully hand-cut, filed, and shaped. Tiny bends, gentle wrinkles, and soft curves are added one by one, giving every leaf its own personality - just like the ones you’d find drifting along a forest path.

Once formed, the metal is darkened with patina and then softly buffed to bring out each vein and detail, leaving the highlights shining and the recessed lines rich with shadow. A museum-grade wax finish protects the surface while preserving that earthy, time-worn glow.

Finally, each leaf is paired with a torch-drawn sterling silver ear wire, so it hangs as if from a branch, swaying lightly with every step.
