A Full Circle Moment at the Christmas Fair
Share
Some stories don’t end at the booth - they continue quietly, weaving themselves through seasons, shows, and familiar faces.
At the recent Hampstead Church Christmas Fair, I hosted a small giveaway as a way to say thank you - a $50 Rust & Leaf gift card or a credit toward a custom piece, complete with a free consultation. It felt like a small spark of magic to add to a festive winter day.
Later that evening, after the fair had wrapped and the studio lights were dim, I spun the wheel to choose the winner. Before nestling into bed, I shared the story on Instagram and Facebook - a quiet way to close the day’s magic.
And in one of those moments that feels both surprising and somehow meant to be, the name that appeared belonged to a familiar face - a returning customer whose kindness and continued support have become part of the Rust & Leaf story.
✨ Congratulations to Kate, our giveaway winner!
A little message has fluttered her way, carrying an invitation to dream up something meaningful together - whether that’s a custom piece shaped by story, or something already waiting for her in the shop.

Moments like this are a gentle reminder of why I do what I do.
Rust & Leaf has never been just about silver and stone. It’s about connection. About recognition. About the quiet joy of seeing familiar names and faces return, season after season. About the way handmade work becomes part of people’s lives and memories.
To everyone who stopped by the booth, shared a kind word, signed up, or simply took a moment to look - thank you. Your presence is what makes these full-circle moments possible.
And to Kate - whenever the timing is right, the studio door is open. 🌿
